Crew Chief Shuffle 2008

pemberton.jpgChange has been brewing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series crew chief ranks since the season ended at Homestead (and some even before that). It seems as though there is a new announcement almost every day about another crew chief changing teams. The off season is always a crazy time for teams to reorganize and try to become better before testing at Daytona begins next month.

Several changes have already been announced, with more to come, I’m sure. If you want to see who is going to be sitting on top of the pit box for the 2008 Sprint Cup Season for those teams who have already announced their crew chief changes, keep reading after the jump.

#01 - Ryan Pemberton out; Doug Richert in
#4 - Chris Carrier leaves to the #77; no word on plans for the #4 team
#7 - Peter Sospenzo out; Frank Kerr in
#8 - Tony Eury Jr. out; Tony Gibson stays at the #8
#10 - Mike Shiplett in; Rodney Childers out
#12 - Mike Nelson moves to Penske Management; Roy McCauley in
