Really, was there any doubt? Seeing Tony Stewart actually running with his unfortunate modified mullet flopping in the wind was worth the vote. Fans were asked to vote on their favorite commercial that aired during the Daytona 500 over at NASCAR.com, and the Toyota commercial with kids remote controlling the race cars won the contest. You can check it out in the video below.

Second place went to the one that almost made me cry - Dale Jarrett’s farewell from UPS. It was very well done with him getting to actually race the truck against some other great NASCAR drivers and then hanging up the keys for good (*sniff*). Third place went to the Gillette Young Guns and their foray into the wrestling ring where they beat up WWE Superstar John Cena (who, by the way, participated in the show “Fast Cars and Superstars” last summer).

Well, I’m not sure what to say about this commercial. I don’t exactly get it, but it does keep you thinking about the commercial (even if it is because you’re scratching your head). This commercial never aired and it’s not clear if it was banned or if no one understood it and it just got shelved. Anyway, here it is. If you can figure it out, let me know in the comments.

I love NASCAR commercials. I think the drivers make some of the best commercials on TV, so I thought I would start a collection of commercial clips right here at NASCAR Talk Online for all of our enjoyment. The first one I grabbed is a classic one that I’m not sure ever actually aired (someone correct me if I’m wrong!)
