The Nextel Cup Series drivers got to tour New York City and light up the town for their Championship Banquet week a couple weeks ago. Last weekend, it was time for the drivers from the Busch Series to take center stage in Orlando, Florida. The top ten drivers were there to accept their awards, along with the Owner’s Championship team and drivers. While many of the faces are familiar, as they participated in the Nextel Cup ceremony as well, some of the Busch Series regulars managed to secure top ten spots in the drivers’ points to take the stage themselves. I’ve obtained some great pictures of the drivers from the banquet looking good all cleaned up. For more pictures, click after the jump.

The question is, can anybody beat Dale Earnhardt Jr.? Junior has won the fan fueled survey four consecutive years and is currently in the top ten right now for this year’s award. The only other drivers who have won as many times in a row as Junior is Bill Elliott and Richard Petty. Will he make it 5 in a row, or will his announced move to Hendrick Motorsports sour his voters?

The National Motorsports Press Association has given out the award every year since 1956. This year’s current top ten, in no particular order, include Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Dale Jarrett, Jimmie Johnson, Elliott Sadler, Tony Stewart and Michael Waltrip. Last year, Jeff Gordon ended up in second place behind Junior and with his current great finishes on the track, could work his way to the top of the list this year.
