Jeff Burton found his way to victory lane after leading 61 laps in the Dollar General 300 at Lowe’s Motorspeedway in Charlotte, NC. This was Burton’s 4th win in the Busch Series this season, as he managed to survive through 10 cautions and 11 lead changes among 5 different drivers.

Current points leader Carl Edwards had the chance to solidify his championship this race, but failed to do so finishing 33rd after getting caught up in a wreck on lap 133. However, in his exit interview he seemed to be in good spirits and he was able to get in a few “get well” shout outs to people such as his aunt and his good buddy John Cena.
